After approximately 5 years of fundraising, applying for grants and lots of carol singing(!) the money needed to transform the Great Bourton playground was raised. It took 3 weeks to take the 2 old items out (namely a non-rocking horse and some old swings!) and replace them with many items of fantastic equipment, chosen by village residents and children.
The play area was officially opened by Lucy Cronin on 24th June 2007
The Bourtons 100 Club is now run by the Village Hall committe. Everyone is invited to join at a cost of £1 per month payable yearly in May. Draws take place monthly at the Parish Council Meetings. If you would like to become a member please contact us on playareas@bourtons.net and the forms will be emailed to you, or print off and complete the forms found here.

Hello new equipment!
Since the initial installation of equipment in the playground, more items have been added, these include a goal, more seating, a roofed picnic area, and spinners!
None of this would have been possible without the help and support of the Parish Council and the village residents - Thankyou!
